New Russian AK-12 assault rifles were exported.

RIA Novosti was informed about this by the general director of the Kalashnikov concern Dmitry Tarasov. It is noted that now we are talking about neighboring countries. However, the states to which the machines are exported have not yet been named.

According to Dmitry Tarasov, the obligations for the supply of AK-12s for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defense for 2020 have already been fulfilled. The company began working on orders for 2021.

On the basis of the AK-12, which was put into service at the end of 2018, it is planned to produce weapons of various calibers and purposes. Moreover, the machines can be produced in military and civilian versions.

The AK-12 weighs 3.2 kilograms without a magazine, the rate of fire is 700 rounds per minute. Sighting range - 1000 meters.
